A large number of members of Local 987 are employed in the healthcare field, working in hospitals and personal care homes in the city of Winnipeg and rural Manitoba.

Our members work at a wide variety of jobs including health care aides, housekeeping aides, nurses, power engineers, building maintenance, and technicians for a variety of medical diagnostic equipment, to name a few.
