Congratulations to OE 987A & 987D 2025 Bursary recipient, Alyssa Newitt!

The bursary is available to dependents of OE987 members in locals 987A & 987D who are attending a post-secondary education program.

Alyssa is currently enrolled at Brandon University where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science as part of her prerequisites for admission to either the University of Waterloo or a university in the United States! Her ultimate goal is to earn a Doctorate in Optometry.

We congratulate Alyssa on her progress and look forward to seeing the remarkable impact she will make in the future.
