Operating Engineers Training Institute of Manitoba (OETIM)

Operating Engineers Training Institute of Manitoba (OETIM) is a joint labour/management, non-profit organization established in 1986 that provides many different courses in safety training and in heavy equipment and crane operation.

OETIM continues its close involvement with provincial and federal government departments to develop effective training strategies and training programs.

OETIM is recognized as an accredited training facility by Human Resources and Social Development Canada and as a private vocational institution by the Private Vocational Institutions Act.

The International Training & Education Center – located in Crosby, Texas – is the largest and most comprehensive training facility for union Operating and Stationary Engineers in North America.

This world-class facility was designed by a blue-ribbon panel of Local Training Coordinators and IUOE staff to develop and improve the skills of our members, instructors, and staff in order to meet the needs of our members and our industry.

This state-of-the-art facility contains everything needed to host, support, and develop the skills of a constantly expanding and varied group of construction and maintenance professionals.
