IUOE Canadian Conference 2026 Bursary Recipient, Alyssa Newitt

Congratulations to Alyssa Newitt, recipient of the 2026 IUOE Canadian Conference Bursary!

The Canadian Conference Bursary supports the dependents of IUOE Canadian members who are pursuing post-secondary education.

Alyssa is currently completing her General Science Degree, with a major in Chemistry and a minor in mathematics. She then plans to apply to the University of Waterloo and some schools in the United States to obtain a Doctor of Optometry.

Congratulations again to Alyssa — we wish her all the best as she continues her education and works toward her future career.
