Update on First Aid & H2S Alive Certificate Expiry Dates

On behalf of the Operating Engineers Training Institute of Manitoba Inc. (OETIM Inc.) please see the following announcement.

During the COVID-19 pandemic there have been announcements from Red Cross and Energy Safety regarding certificates for First Aid and H2S Alive. They have agreed to extend validity of those certificates during the pandemic.

Certificates that have expired since January 1, 2020 will now be valid until September 2020.

Certificates from St. John’s First Aid that have expired after March 17, 2020 will be extended by 90 days until June 17, 2020.

All training that is provided Red Cross, Energy Safe and St. John’s First Aid is currently cancelled during this time.
