OE987 Gord Collins Memorial Bursary Recipients – 2020
editCongratulations to our OE987 Gord Collins Memorial Bursary recipients for 2020! Each year we receive numerous applications from very intelligent, talented and hard-working students.
The OE987 Gord Collins Memorial Bursary award is $500.00 and is awarded to children of our members who work in our 987, 987B & 987C locals.
The following recipients were chosen by the OE987 Bursary Selection Committee:
– Donalea McKay
– Kaelyn Middleton
– Kyla Middleton
– Rhéanne Morin
Donalea McKay is currently attending Dalhousie University in Halifax and studying to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree. Donalea’s future plans are to attend medical school and become a General Surgeon.
Kaelyn Middleton is currently attending the University of Winnipeg and completing her Bachelor of Science Degree, Majoring in Biology and Geography for her undergraduate degree. Kaelyn’s future plans are undecided, she will either apply for Naturopathy or Physician’s Assistant programs.
Kyla Middleton is currently in her final year of completing her Bachelor of Science Degree and Majroing in Exercise Science at the University of Winnipeg. Kyla’s future plans are to pursue a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
Rhéanne Morin is currently attending Red River College and completing the Business Administration Program. Rhéanne’s future plans are to finish her program at Red River College and then transfer to University to obtain her Master of Business Administration and eventually own her own business.
We wish the recipients all the best in their studies. We know they will accomplish many great things in the future!
