Bill 55 Rally at the Manitoba Legislative Building

This morning OE987 showed support with Manitoba Building Trades and affiliates at the Manitoba Legislature to oppose Bill 55 and it’s damaging changes to Manitoba’s Apprenticeship system issued by the Pallister Government.

Bill 55’s removal of The Apprenticeship Opportunities Act directly contradicts any supposed support for apprentices and the future of Manitoba’s skilled construction workforce. This new 2:1 apprenticeship ratio is set to weaken Manitoba’s trades industry and leave no jobs for trained workers.
