National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – September 30th, 2021
editThe National Day for Truth and Reconciliation honours the lost children and Survivors of residential school, their families and communities. This day coincides with Orange Shirt Day. We are encouraged to show our support today by wearing orange as well as reflect on the past and the impact that the residential schools had on First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples.
We must acknowledge the past in order to heal and create a better future.
Our office will be closed today, Thursday, September 30th, 2021, in observance.
