National Day for Truth and Reconciliation – OE987 Office Closed
editToday, September 30, 2022 marks the second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Historically commemorated as Orange Shirt Day, this day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. We are encouraged to show our support today by wearing orange as well as reflect on the past and the impact that the residential schools had on First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
We must acknowledge the past in order to heal and create a better future.
Our office will be closed today in observance.
