National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.  Today, we honour the residential school survivors and the children who never returned home, their families, and communities.  Today, we pause to recognize and commemorate the tragic history and the ongoing intergenerational impacts of residential schools, which is vital to the reconciliation process.  At OE987, we recognize the harms of the past and commit to building a future rooted in truth, respect, and humility, while we work towards a fairer, just society for all.
