FAQ – What do I do when I work outside of Manitoba under Travel Card?

One of the many great things about being an OE987 member, is that you are also part of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE).  The IUOE has provincial jurisdictions across Canada!  To obtain a Travel Card to work under another IUOE Local, your membership dues must be in good standing with OE987 and must remain in good standing while working out of province. All working dues that are deducted off your wages when you work out of province remain in the province where you are employed.  So, to make sure your membership remains in good standing and you can keep rocking it in the province you are working in, you would need to continue to pay minimum monthly dues directly to OE987.
